Arts and Crafts, Week 2

Hey everyone! Did anyone do last week's craft? I sure hope you guys did and had fun with the magazines, and now I have another craft for you all!
Are you guys ready? Drumroll, please! DRUM SOUND DRUM SOUND DRUM SOUND! Okay, the craft this week is a lanyard pen! This is another craft where you probably won't need to buy any supplies, because all you need is a pen with ink and a lanyard! So let me tell you guys the steps!

  1.  Lanyard four to five rows of just box stitching. BTW, do this with 2 pieces only, not three, because I don't know if this will work later on.
  2. Unscrew the pen. Take out the ink portion. It should look like a golden point with a clear tube and some ink. Put the rest of the pen parts aside, because you won't need anything but the ink. Um, hopefully you didn't just unscrew your favorite pen right now while reading...
  3. Now this is the hardest step, besides parting with your beloved pen :). You want to place the ink on the four little squares that have formed and try to lanyard around it. This will be very difficult at first, because the ink will fall over. One trick I used is that I lanyard-ed one row, and right before I pulled really tightly, I stuck the ink in. After maybe seven rows, the ink should be stable enough to lanyard around. Just remember to pull really, really tightly!
  4. When you have finished your lanyard until the golden-ish part of the pen, know and cut off the rest of your lanyard. You are done!
Awesome craft, right? These lanyards are super awesome! I only have made one so far, but they look so cool! Writable lanyards, here we come!
If any of you guys try out this craft or need some help with the previous craft, let me know in the comments!
