Poll winner!

Okay I love Oreos, and apparently so do some of you guys! That's right, an Oreo factory won last weeks poll! Yay! Make sure to vote in this weeks poll and you can actually request ideas for future ones  in the comments if you want.
Anyway, you guys are here cause you wanna know what's going on in my life, right? Well, I just came back from playing tennis and eating food (tennis makes me famished). Yes, I play tennis. It is kind of relaxing and let's me not stress about all the things to well, stress about, I guess. Do sports help you guys unwind and cool down a bit? The problem is, I am really bad with sports in PE. The ball always goes past me, and I am always confused with quarterbacks, goalies, and defense. I almost was a goalie against my own soccer team; so embarrassing. At least I am not a total klutz and my team is pretty nice. And it is more fun playing sports instead of running 2 miles (sorry, running fans). Well, I will try and post soon!

Black History Month

Hello everyone! As you may know, Black History Month is this month! Some classes have to do a project on African American inventors. I learned about this month by watching Ant Farm: InfluANTces. I liked it because it told about Ella Fitzgerald and segregation, Jannet Jackson, and others while being super funny and serious (how do they do it? Someone needs to tell me).  I am now gonna go all random and talk about one of my favorite candies: Zots. They are super awesome because they are huge and you put them on your tongue and then they fizz! You can feel all the fizz on your tongue and it keeps going and going and going. You can buy them at some store like 7-Eleven, but I just rely on the stash my teacher has. Anyways, don't forget to vote in this week's poll! I can't wait to see what you guys choose! I'm keeping up the same one from last week because we have only gotten 1 vote so far! (Really? Please just vote.) Plus, check out the new book review. I know one of my BFF's loves the books.

Yum Yum Yummy!

Hey y'all! The reason why I said yum and all in the title was because my mom made this super tasty pasta for snack/dinner. It looks good, but tastes great! Do your mom have super cool talents that are hidden from all? I guess my mom's talent isn't hidden now, but that's okay, right? Right? You know, not being able to have a conversation has a disadvantage.
My school is participating in something called Pennies for Patients, which is a program that you donate to to help people with leukemia. I think it is great because having someone with leukemia in your family or just knowing them is really sad and unfortunate. Leukemia is a type of cancer that can damage your body greatly. I will definitely donate as much as I can, and if your schools are doing something like this, don't forget to either.
Well, thanks for reading. Don't forget to vote in the weekly poll! You guys have one day for last week's since I extended it. Let your inner voter shine through! BTW, you can pick multiple answers, so enjoy! Remember, keep calm and read my post on. (I am still working on it.)

Happy February!

Hello all! Sorry I didn't post last week. My record is now tarnished, heh heh. Or maybe I should be saying "waaa" or something. But last week was just super crazy! I had the flu, so it was really boring. I just stayed at home and drank chicken soup and ate rice. The medicine was actually kinda good and all, because it was Tylenol and it is really sugary for kids.
The weird thing was, my teacher was sick, too. I thought that he would be be back by the time I came back to school, which was on Friday. At least Friday seemed really great. I mean, it was really great. There was no one telling you to keep resting, we played a game in math class, and the sun was shining and the birds were chirping, just like in those movies. I also loved seeing the look of shock and surprise when my friends saw me standing in line or right behind them! Basically, coming back from the flu is way more fun than lounging on the recliner and watching TV for three hours (I only did it once. Besides, it was boring). It is great to be back!
How do you guys feel when you guys come back after being sick: buried by homework, or more like fun in the sun?
